Being on the waterfront, many of our residents enjoy boating, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching and fishing. Residents have exclusive use of the private boat ramp and dock. As a courtesy to others, boats must be removed from the water if the boat will not be used for five (5) consecutive days. |
If you enjoy fishing, you can use our shoreline or your boat to pursue bass, brim, crappie, catfish, or shellcracker. We'll provide you with a boat ramp, dock and relaxed fishing opportunities; the rest is up to you. For those who like hiking and/or biking, there is the the newly opened Withlacoochee Bay Trail and Withlacoochee State Trail which is part of the Florida Rails to Trails Program. |
Fishing: Freshwater fishing and boating is only a few feet away and down our private boat ramp. Saltwater fishing is only 10 miles down the road.Whether you enjoy bass, panfish, redfish, or snook—we are the place for you! Bird Watching: Bird watching of bald eagles, Florida sandhill cranes, nesting great horned owls, tufted titmouse, flycatchers, anhingas and numerous other species can be done from your window, the waterfront and the easily accessible Great Florida Birding Trail. |
